Welcome to Black Dog Architects!

Thanks for considering Black Dog for your project. The following pages have some images and information on some of my previous projects, as well as hints, advice, links and suggestions that I hope will be useful to you.

Black Dog Architects is a small firm that will work closely with you to make sure your project needs and wishes are successfully met, and that the design enhances an existing property. I strive to make sure that the process is as enjoyable, and believe in good design that is beautiful, energy efficient, appropriate to the property and your needs, and provided at reasonable cost.

I am in Abington, PA, and Silver Spring, MD.  In PA, I work throughout the greater Philadelphia region and am very familiar with working in the City.  In Maryland I work in the Northern suburbs of Washington, and in between PA and DC.  I provide architectural design services for homes, additions, remodels, and light commercial renovations such as stores or apartments, and the adaptive re-use of existing buildings. I have extensive experience with residential projects (new, renovations and additions) as well as commercial and institutional projects as diverse as law firm interiors, bank, church and historical renovations/adaptive reuse.
